Course Objective

Adobe Illustrator is the sort of complex program that can take years to learn without professional guidance. On the Illustrator course, you’ll be guided by a professional all the way from the basics up to the more complicated features in just days. Afterward, even those without any form of previous formal training in illustration will be able to work confidently with complicated features such as vector graphics and typographical adjustments. Whether you’d like to begin a career in the area, or you’d simply like to be able to add illustrations to your designs, the Illustrator course will put you on the right track.

In this course student will learn when to use vector graphics rather than bit-mapped, how to use the comprehensive selection of drawing tools, building up an illustration with objects and using type in illustrations

This course will be able to: – create complex illustrations. – enhance complex illustrations. – create a vector version of a raster graphic. – create special effects. – Work with graphs. – Work with variables. – prepare documents for composite and commercial printing. – export graphics for the web and mobile devices

Draw and understand Bezier curves
The root of drawing in Illustrator
Create a logo using simple shapes
Accurately place and measure objects in the Illustration window
Trace and color your hand drawn artwork with Live Trace
Live Paint and Live Color
Save illustrations for both print and web purposes
Further adjust Bezier curves by creating Compound paths
Create Custom Brushes and various Graphic Styles
Work with Transparency and other raster effects like drop shadows
Accurately adjust type in an artwork
Prepare documents for composite and commercial printing
Enhance the workflow and
Integration of Illustrator with the rest of Creative Suite

Who should attend

Graphic designers or people transitioning into a design job or taking on design responsibilities that need to use Adobe Illustrator to create illustrations, logos, advertisements or other graphic documents. They may have little or no experience with Illustrator, although they may already use Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop.

Participants will be granted a completion certificate from Epsilon Training Institute, USA if they attend a minimum of 80 percent of the direct contact hours of the Program and after fulfilling program requirements (passing both Final Exam and Project to obtain the Certificate)
